Before you continue the install process...
HOW TO INSTALL:

UnZIP and run the setup program.
This installer will extract and rebuild your Audio.Dat file with my sounds.
For this to work you must NOT have renamed the Audio.dat
( Only those who have already extracted the "Dat" needs to check this. Also, BACKUP your Audio.ini file!)
MAKE SURE the installer point to your "RICHARD BURNS RALLY" directory.
If the installer can't find your install directory - Use the option - BROWSE for folder.
When setup is finished you will have a folder named "RBR Audio v2.3" in your RBR dir.
If for some reason the install process should fail, you can use the install.bat in this folder. Or manually extract-Rebuild the Dat file(s) with the DATTool.

Changes in engine sounds are only subtitle but you should get a little more bang for your buck so to say and maybe you will appreciate some of the
small changes here and there ;-)
1. Helicopter in replay, less noisy.
2. A few pop's for the engine.
3. Turbo.
4. BlowOffValve.
5. Gear change, Up & Down.
6. Ignition, Use your clutch.
7. Cooler. ( Radiator)
8. Menu sounds.
9. Service sounds in Championship. I hated that guy repeating him self. Much better now.
10.Surface. Gravel, Water, Tarmac. Only subtitle changes except for tarmac witch is better now I think.

Hey you guys (girls). This is just to much. 54837 downloads and only 7 comments. You should be a shame all of you. Why itīs so hard to thanks all this guys for there good work?! You donīt have to pay anything and the original game is only getting better. Keep on the good work all of you guys.
Hmm, the engine sounds are really nice and i love the BoV... tho i really hate the changes you made to the tyre/gravel sounds... sounds like the car is driving on air unless im fully sideways..... other then that fairly decent sound mod.
ADS: You have probably done like many others.. Not changed the volume in RBR's audio options menu to your liking. The road noises, like gravel, tarmac skid etc are most likly just set to low in game.
You can try this:
Engine: 70% (Volume)
Co-driver: 80%
Effects: 100%
Road noise: 60-80%
If you want the gravelsound even louder, you can adjust the volume level manualy in the "Audio.ini" file located in the RBR main dir.
Nice mod... but i do have a question. I dont know if this is a normal bug of the game. I have a C2D 4400, 2gb ram, MSI 8600GT OC... the game runs everytime on 85FPS, except when i am at high RPMs, and i leave the throttle... every 'pop' from the exhaust freezes my screen for about 1/5 of a second. Is it a normal bug of the game, does anyone have this problem? I think this problem occurs more frequently at France and when I am using the third gear (although i see it happening in other stages and gears). I dont know if it is correlated to the pop sound or is a programming problem. I would appreciate any solution! Thank you!
