Job description
Our client is looking for a Reference Data Manager to assume responsibility for administration of all commodity and equity products in the client's reference database.

Corporate Actions duties:

• Discovery of future adjustments
• Comprehensive understanding of the underlying adjustment
• Research of memos and rule books from individual exchanges and clearing houses
• Applying and confirming adjustments
• Coordinating adjustments with company operations, trading and clearing groups.
• Understanding various corporate actions and how they affect stock trading
• Collaborating with operators to listing new stocks and remove stocks

New derivative products:

• Researching new products and their individual mechanics
• Entering product specifications parameters
• Collaborate with programmers to configure automatic updates
• Mapping the product to market data sources

Who we are looking for
Our client is seeking a Reference Data Manager candidate with the following experience:

• 5+ years experience in a trade settlements environment with heavy exposure to equity corporate actions
• Strong experience in commodity options
• Comprehensive understanding of exchange traded derivatives
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with various departments
• Strong technical background including Linux/Unix OS
