Job description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director - Client Development will be responsible for the overall development and success of the sales/client development function at Hirtle, Callaghan & Co. This role, based out of Conshohocken Pennsylvania will have national responsibility. This individual will be a key member of the management team, leveraging and integrating with Firm resources, staff, and managers to ensure successful acquisition, integration and retention of new clients.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The incumbent will develop production goals and calling activity targets for the sales/client development team, will oversee implementation of this activity plan, and is responsible for the overall sales/client development process, sales/client development results, and staff development of team members.
• S/he will act as a senior advisor and assist in the closing of complex sales
• S/he will develop the strategic marketing plan and sales budget, and will represent the sales function to the executive committee
• The Managing Director of Sales must work well with all departments within the organization and motivate individuals to work together for the overall benefit of the Firm.
• Perform other needed functions as required.

Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE and OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• The incumbent should possess 10+ years of related sales / sales management experience preferably in investment services.
• S/he will have a proven track record of successful selling, problem solving, and teambuilding.
• S/he must have strong client service skills and the ability to effectively communicate investment strategy and process.
• S/he must be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business or finance major required.
MBA, CFP or CFA required.
• Significant travel will be required. Current offices include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Scottsdale with at least 2 projected additional office openings per year.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications and ability to utilize on-line reporting systems.
