Legislation
Maintaining ongoing, two-way communication with members of the Legislature is the hallmark of CALFED’s legislative program. CALFED’s legislative director is available to legislators and their staff to answer questions and provide a better understanding of program goals and objectives so that legislators are fully aware of and briefed on issues surrounding the CALFED Bay-Delta Program and related water resources issues. The legislative director also assists with the development of legislation that furthers the mission of the CALFED Program and provides expert advice to management on legislation regarding CALFED and other relevant water issues.
