Lowy Cancer Research Centre lahznimmo architects with Wilson Architects
lahznimmo architects with Wilson Architects were awarded the commission for the Lowy Cancer Research Centre at the University of NSW through a short listed paid competition process. The research facility is a joint venture between the University of NSW, Faculty of Medicine and the Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia (CCIA).
The centre comprises two basement levels of specialist plant and equipment, four floors of laboratories and two levels of administration, dry research space and staff common room. The building is located on a very prominent location at the NE corner of the Kensington campus and at the edge of what has become the UNSW medical precinct.
