Terrorist mastermind Noordin Top is dead. But in the tiny villages of Central Java, his ideas live on.
SOLO, Indonesia — Indonesian security forces scored a major victory last month, when they hunted down and killed the terrorist mastermind Noordin Mohammad Top.
So how is Noordin's bloody end playing on his home turf?
To find out, we traveled to Central Java to visit the mosques, schools and villages where Noordin's brand of Islamic extremism took root.
