Meet the Burj Dubai builder
There's been plenty of coverage the past couple of days about the Burj Dubai (promptly renamed the Burj Kailfa in honor of the UAE's president who last month kindly bailed Dubai out of its debt problems).
But you may not have heard much about the person who actually designed the 2,717-foot beast.
His name is Adrian Smith, and he's a Chicago architect of some renown.
