On IMDb, when you watch any of the short films, once you click on the PLAY button, it takes you to another screen. Well, in the case of this film, this screen included a description of the short that completely took away any element of surprise. It indicated that the film is about a guy cleaning out the chimney and finding Santa dead inside--talk about a spoiler. In addition, this surprising element was revealed awfully quickly. Both elements conspired to lessen the shock value and make the film less funny. It's sad, really, as it is still a very good film. In particular, I loved the way they coped with the death at the very end. Additionally, the credits should not be ignored--there are a couple laughs there as well.
Overall, a good film but a bit anticlimactic due to the IMDb description. With a heightened sense of surprise, it would have scored a bullseye.
