The Indianapolis-Anderson-Columbus Combined Statistical Area is the 23rd largest in the United States. It includes the Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) of Indianapolis, as well as the Anderson, IN, MSA of Madison County, Indiana, the Columbus, IN, MSA of Bartholomew County, Indiana, and the Micropolitan Statistical Areas of Crawfordsville, IN (Montgomery County, Indiana), New Castle, IN (Henry County, Indiana), and North Vernon, IN (Jennings County, Indiana). The Indianapolis-Anderson-Columbus, IN Combined Statistical Area has a July 1, 2007, Census Bureau estimated population of 2,014,267.
