Description
Robert Duvall wrote, directed and plays the lead in this passionate portrait of an intense mob hit man who unlocks his artistic side while on a business trip. John J. (Duvall) leaves the domestic bliss of his Brooklyn girlfriend (Kathy Baker) and her young daughter (Katherine Micheaux Miller) to take an assignment rubbing out a wealthy general in Buenos Aires. However, while unexpectedly detained in Argentina, he becomes enthralled by performers at a local dance club and asks one of the instructors (Luciana Pedraza) for tango lessons.
