Overview

D.C. United has committed itself to serving the Greater Washington, D.C. community since its inception in 1996. Through its Community Relations department and its non-profit arm, United for D.C., D.C. United impacts hundreds of organizations and thousands of kids through its programs and initiatives each year.

Below are some of the team's signature programs, including its most accomplished undertaking - United for D.C.

United for D.C., the 501(c)3 non-profit arm of D.C. United, operates four main programs:

United Drives

Each month of the regular season, D.C. United collects much needed items such as children's books, canned food, youth soccer equipment, toys and school supplies to benefit area non-profit organizations. Click here to find out how you can get involved.

United Builds

Through its United Builds initiative, D.C. United hopes to unite its "team" - players, coaches, staff, fans and supporters - to build community, one step at a time. Community Soccer Series

The D.C. United Community Soccer Series consists of six free soccer clinics open to children ages 7 to 13, led by D.C. United coaches and players as well as instructors from the D.C. United Academy. Click here to get more information about an upcoming clinic in your neighborhood.

United Community Partnerships

Each season, D.C. United partners with various organizations to create meaningful relationships aside from the ordinary in-kind donation or player appearance.
