Dyson Slim DC18 All Floors Vacuum
Dyson Slim DC18 Floors All Vacuums
Vacuum connoisseurs the world over love us a Dyson. Probably because we've bought into the marketing hype: the British guy who claims that his products "never lose suction" while flashing images of sleek machines with names like "Ball" and "Animal." It's pure suction porn and we love every frame. But unlike real life porn, bigger isn't always better. Thanks to the DC18's diminutive size, this vacuum is equal parts sexy and functional. The Slim has a narrow, lightweight chassis that allows even dainty folk to maneuver it into all the right places. It has all the bonuses of a full-size Dyson (strong suction, no dusty bags, cool form factor) but without the added bulk.
WIRED Not as hard to steer as its big brothers. Bagless, so you can easily retrieve anything (hamsters, wedding rings) that accidentally gets sucked up -- and they will get sucked up. Telescoping wand can reach up to 16 feet, allowing you to get at those cobwebs on the ceiling without having to climb up on the couch.
TIRED Canister is small, so you have to dump out the dirt more often than with the big dogs-every three or four uses.
