FBR Capital Markets Corporation (NASDAQFBCM), is an investment bank headquartered in Arlington, Virginia that sponsors the FBR Open PGA golf tournament held in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was founded in 2007 in an equity spin-off from [1] FBR Group (now known as Arlington Asset) in the spring of 2007.

The company focuses investment banking, advisory, trading and research efforts in seven broad industry sectors. These sectors include consumer, diversified industrials, energy & natural resources, financial institutions, insurance, real estate and technology, media & telecom.
