Sky News Business Channel is an Australian 24 hour cable and satellite business news channel available on Foxtel, Austar and Optus Television subscription platforms, owned by Australian News Channel Pty Ltd.

Australian News Channel announced it was to launch a business news channel in 2008 with one third of content to be taken from Fox Business Network in the United States.[1] In turn, Fox Business airs coverage from Sky News Business Channel during holiday periods and critical financial stories breaking in the overnights and on weekends in order to continue providing current financial news coverage to American audiences.

Sky News Business Channel began 16:9 widescreen broadcasting along with sister channels Sky News Australia and A-PAC on Sunday, May 17 2009.[2]
