Tag a song on iPod or the new iPod nano.

iPod nano is now rocking a built-in FM tuner. So listeners can use the click wheel to tag a song, and iTunes creates a list of all tagged songs for preview and purchase the next time iPod nano is synced to iTunes.*

When listening to a compatible HD radio or car stereo system, iTunes Tagging is just as simple. Listeners hear a song, press “tag”, and a connected iPod** saves that song’s title and metadata. When they sync iPod to a Mac or PC, a new Tagged playlist appears in the iTunes jukebox — complete with links to the iTunes Store. Listeners can preview tagged songs free, then buy them with a click.

Earn a commission.

For radio stations, iTunes Tagging means more revenue and a stronger connection with your listeners. You receive a commission on every purchased song tagged from your broadcast. And your listeners get an incentive to keep the dial fixed on your programming.

*Currently available only in the U.S. on radio stations that support iTunes Tagging.

**The following models support iTunes Tagging via a compatible HD Radio accessory: iPod with video, iPod classic, iPod nano (3rd, 4th and 5th generation), iPod touch (1st and 2nd generation), iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS.
