Background: For over thirty years the Journal of Supreme Court History has been serving the legal profession, historians, and the public. When launched in 1976 as an annual publication it was titled Yearbook 1976 Supreme Court Historical Society. It changed its name to the Journal of Supreme Court History in 1990 and became a biannual publication in 1996. The Journal became a trimester publication in 1999, and the following year Blackwell Publishing, Inc. became its publisher.


Subscription: The Journal of Supreme Court History (ISSN 1059-4329) is published three times a year in March, July and November by the Supreme Court Historical Society through Blackwell Publishing, Inc.
