Michael DeCesare

Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Michael DeCesare is responsible for worldwide sales, channels, sales engineering, consulting services, and education services. Since joining McAfee in 2007, DeCesare has continued to fortify the expansion of McAfee sales around the globe, which has resulted in multiple quarters of double-digit revenue growth. He leads a team of more than 2,000 employees and is a critical driver in creating and executing the company's sales strategy.

DeCesare joined McAfee with almost two decades of sales experience in the technology industry. He was previously senior vice president of field operations at EMC. In his other roles at EMC, DeCesare was responsible for all sales, presales consulting, training, technical support, partner, telesales, and sales operational resources for the company's software business.

Prior to EMC, DeCesare worked at Documentum, helping to grow sales to a significant level before the company was acquired by EMC. Before he joined Documentum, DeCesare held senior sales and management positions at Oracle, consistently achieving top sales honors.

DeCesare holds a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University. He also attended the San Francisco Culinary Academy.

DeCesare lives in California and has three children. He enjoys skiing, playing guitar, and tennis.
