This is the essential guide to help programme makers with information on what to deliver with a programme, to whom and by when. You will find an explanation of the terminology; advice on who to contact for help; guides to completing the paperwork as well as detailed technical specification.

The site is designed to support independent and in-house programme makers delivering English language television programmes for transmission by BBC Wales. For specific guidelines when making a programme for transmission by Network go to bbc.co.uk/commissioning/delivery.

This site also includes information about delivering BBC Wales Welsh language programmes for transmission by S4C.

For Network Delivery there are some exceptions to to bear in mind when referring to information on the Network commissioning site :

  • Publicity material is still handled by BBC Wales Press and Publicity
  • Indie commissions for Network still need to deliver to Scheduling & Presentation in Cardiff. This also applies to the 'paperwork'.
