The BBC logo is our most valuable visual asset. Consistency is essential in order to protect the BBC brand.
BBC branding must appear on all web pages containing BBC content.
Full information on our domain name policy is available here.
Guidance on using the BBC logo is here.
Additional BBC sub-brands, such as channel or network brands may also appear on the pages, but not instead of the BBC logo.
If the programme title/intellectual property is BBC owned, ”bbc” should be included in the URL, e.g. ”bbctweenies.com” and the BBC logo should be placed near the programme title/intellectual property.
If it is proposed that the URL does not carry ’bbc”, (although all web pages must still carry BBC branding), please consult Brand Communications.
