The Week is an English language Indian weekly newsmagazine published by The Malayala Manorama group, which also publishes the iconic newspaper Malayala Manorama. By circulation, it claims to be the second largest selling English newsmagazine in India, behind India Today though a majority of the sales is still concentrated in south India.

Among the three big cities that matter to advertisers by their sheer volume of sales, the magazine leads over its competitors India Today and Outlook in Bangalore, is far outnumbered by them in the all-crucial Delhi market, and is presumably neck-and-neck in Mumbai, though recently, it has gone to town claiming that it is the 'New No.2' among GIEMs. The Magazine, like most of India's English language media, is liberal and centrist, like most other big publications.

While circulation has more or less remained constant (though it is disputable), some major promotional drives, coupled with lifestyle-related news features, has increased the magazine's visibility in general, and popularity with advertisers in particular. The magazine celebrated it's 25th anniversary last year, with a special double-issue whose cover story was penned by none other than the Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh, and champagne parties across big Indian cities. Its Managing editor is Phillip Mathew, and Editor in charge T R Gopalakrishnan.
