From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

This is a category about different movements or organisations, both legal and illegal, that have sought regime change or independence, especially from colonial oppression. Some can be considered separatist (see List of active autonomist and secessionist movements). Many of these movements have used violence as a tactic and are described by their critics as terrorists. They have differing levels of support.
