CCH (Commerce Clearing House), a Wolters Kluwer business, is a provider of software and information services for tax, accounting and audit workers.
[edit] History
CCH has been in tax law research and compliance since the inception of the modern federal income tax in 1913.[1] Wolters Kluwer bought the company in 1995.
Today, the company is also recognized[2] for its software and integrated workflow tools. CCH operates on a global scale and includes operations in the United States, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Canada.
Unfortunately CCH, like most companies, has not been immune to the global economic depression. In the early 2010 fiscal year CCH began implementing furlough days for many of their employees, beginning in late May / early June of 2010. In June of 2010 CCH, citing cash flow concerns, began phasing out commission programs for their in house sales employees.
