Eugene Puryear

Eugene Puryear (born February 28, 1986 in Charlottesville, Virginia)[1] is an American politician and the vice presidential candidate for the Party for Socialism and Liberation in the 2008 United States presidential election.
Puryear is currently a student at Howard University. He is an activist with the antiwar ANSWER coalition and has been involved in the campaign to free the Jena 6. He also writes for the PSL's newspaper and journal.
