Khaliji (music)

Khaliji is the style of music native to the Arab states of the Persian Gulf (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE). It is characterized by heavy use of the traditional tabl drum and music of the oud.
