English: Map of the territorial aims of a
Greater Serbia in early 1993 during the
Yugoslav Wars according to the aims of the government of
Radovan Karadzic of
Republika Srpska, the government of the
Republic of Serbian Krajina, and the tacit support of such aims by
Slobodan Milosevic and the Serbian government. This map is based on the 1981 ethnic identity census map of Yugoslavia. The aims of the government of the Republic of Serbian Krajina are shown in what is now territory demarcated by Croatia as well as miniscule sections of northwestern Bosnia that were seized by Krajina Serb forces. Karadzic's responsibility and goals at this time included the aims shown in
Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as aims on a small stretch of coastline held by Croatia, south of
Dubrovnik. Karadzic intended to have these territories connected to the
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) as well as supporting the integration of the
Republic of Macedonia into the FRY. Slobodan Milosevic advocated a policy of "all Serbs in one state" and supported the aims of Krajina and Srpska Serbs as well as pursuing policies to encourage the Republic of Macedonia to join the FRY. Based on info from the following: -
