The Delaware Democratic Party is the local branch of the Democratic Party in the US State of Delaware, headquartered in unincorporated New Castle County.[1] John D. Daniello is the current state Chair. On the Federal level both of the states US Senators are Democrats, as is Vice President of the United States Joe Biden. The Governor Ruth Ann Minner is also a Democrat serving in her second term and is Delaware's first female governor. Its ticket for Governor, Jack Markell and Matt Denn won in the 2008 election.
