Shakira on Letterman tonight!

Shakira will be a guest on tonight's episode of the Late Show with David Letterman on CBS in U.S. at 11.35pm ET/PT, where she'll perform Loca. Turn on, tune in, maybe have a little dance.

Education IS the foundation for the future. If the children of the world aren't able to access an education, then the world will start to go in a downward spiral because today's children are tomorrow's leaders. If these leaders don't have the tools they need in order to succeed, that absence will initiate the spiral. If enough people are in this absence, then the foundation for the future will be weaker than it should because not everyone will have an education. By providing education for all, this levels the playing field that we call the world and helps to stable the foundation for the future. Thank you for quoting Rousseau. I am fairly positive that no one in 2010 has any idea who he is, unless they teach or study about him. "Man is born good, but society corrupts him" - Rousseau. I find this quote to be increasingly true in the world. In many cultures, children become the Barbie Doll of their society. For instance, in societies that are dealing with political issues, the children in those societies are being corrupted into believing in one way over the other because of the beliefs of their leaders, who are not necessarily the government. These kids are corrupted by their own society to serve as robots to fulfill the burning desires of their society. I'm sorry if this sounds like a rant, it partially is.
