HESP TUITION FEES - FALL'10/SPRING'11 & SUMMER'11
FALL'10
*Single Courses: 1,000 Euros (HESP, UPF or ESCI)
*Two-Course registration: 1,100 Euros (HESP, UPF or ESCI)
*Three -Course registration: 1,400 Euros (HESP, UPF or ESCI)
*Four-Course registration: 1,750 Euros (HESP, UPF or ESCI)
*Five-Course registration: 1,900 Euros (HESP, UPF or ESCI)
*Six-Course registration: 2,000 Euros (HESP, UPF or ESCI)
*Full Year registration: Up to 10 courses: 3,420 Euros
A 10% discount will be applied for those full year students who inform the UPF Study Abroad Program staff of their status well in advance (deadline: end of September). Please note that the discount will be applied to the sum of the two term packets.
• Cancelation fee: A 100-Euro cancellation fee will be applied to those students who cancel their stay at the UPF once they have been pre-registered and given access to the UPF facilities (student cards, access to UPF computers and library, etc.). This fee will be waived if the cancellation is due to a case of force majeur. A case of force majeur is a medical issue or any other matter that requires the student to come back to his/her home country or prevents him/her from joining the program.
Please note that the pre-registration period goes from the student's acceptation at the UPF to the actual beginning of the courses:
- Fall Semester: from the beginning of May to the beginning of September (specifically, the date on which the term starts).
- Spring Semester: from the end of November to the beginning of January (specifically, the date on which the term starts).
- Summer Program: from the beginning of May to the beginning of June (specifically, the date on which the term starts).
Once all students have been able to make changes in their registrations, which takes place on the add-drop day, their schedules are considered as final. Thus, any student who cancels his/her stay after the add-drop day that has been scheduled for each of the terms will need to pay for the whole registration.
SPRING'11
- ONE-TERM REGISTRATION (« Fall Term » or « Spring Term »)
*Two-Course registration: 1,200 Euros (up to 2 courses from HESP, UPF ESCI or ELISAVA)
*Three-course registration: 1,550 Euros (3 courses from HESP, UPF, ESCI or ELISAVA)
*Four-course registration: 1,950 Euros (4 courses from HESP, UPF, Spanish Language courses, ESCI or ELISAVA)
*Five-course registration: 2;150 Euros (5 courses from HESP, UPF, Spanish Language courses, ESCI or ELISAVA)
*Six-course registration: 2,250 Euros (6 courses from HESP, UPF, Spanish Language courses, ESCI or ELISAVA)
- FULL YEAR REGISTRATION: 3,900 Euros.
This option gives the student the right to take up to 12 courses from the Hispanic and European Studies Program (HESP), the UPF regular course offering (direct registration), Spanish Language courses, ESCI or ELISAVA.
Please note that all full-year students should inform the UPF Study Abroad Program office about the lenght of their stay, which should be throughout the Fall and Spring terms, when they register for classes.

UPF LEGAL STUDIES REGISTRATION: The fees that apply to the new pre-law program, which will be starting next Spring11, are the same as the ones described above.
