Romualdas Ozolas

Romualdas Ozolas (born 1939) is a Lithuanian politician, activist, writer and pedagogue. Teacher at the Vilnius University.[1] Member of the Lithuanian branch of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1973 to 1990.[1] Member of Lithuanian independence movement, the Sąjūdis Initiative Group, from 1988 to 1990.[1] In 1988 he founded the nationalist Vilnija organization.[2] Member and chairman of the Lithuanian Centre Union political party from 1993.[1] Member of the Seimas from 1996 to 2000.[1]
Winner of Stasys Šalkauskis prize.[1]
