WIRED Magazine Reader FAQs

Where can I download the app? You can download the app from the Apple App Store.
What content will be included in the app? The app includes the full U.S. print issues of WIRED magazine. Plus, the app contains some bonus photos, videos, and additional content.
Does the monthly issue expire? No. Once you purchase an issue you will have access to the content from your app for as long as you keep the app.
Can I buy a subscription? Not at this time, but it is something we are investigating for future issues.
Can I share the digital issue with friends? Not at this time, but it is something we are investigating for future issues.
Is the WIRED Magazine app available for the iPhone or iPod touch? No, the WIRED Magazine app has been created specifically for the iPad.
If I’ve already purchased the WIRED Magazine App (June Issue), how do I get the July Issue? If you’ve already purchased the WIRED Magazine app, you will need to do the following to receive the update:

1) Start by going to your app “Updates” from within your device.
Note: If you go to the WIRED Magazine app page in the App Store, the app will be listed as “Installed.”
The only way for you to get the upgrade is through your “Updates.”
2) Install the WIRED Update
3) Launch the new WIRED Magazine reader app (We’ve changed the icon from orange to purple)
4) You should now be able to swipe left to right between three options:
    a) A free preview of content (Tap the Download button to view)
    b) The June issue (Tap the Download button to re-install the June issue)
    c) The July issue (Tap the Buy button to purchase)

If you’ve purchased the June issue but it is not available for installation after you’ve updated your app,
please send an email to WIRED [at] cdsfulfillment.com requesting assistance.
