Selling merchandise supports the Wikimedia Foundation, and is a supplement to donations. Available merchandise related to Wikipedia (and other Wikimedia projects) include articles of clothing and other miscellanea with Wikimedia logos and related motifs on them, CDs/DVDs with selected Wikipedia content, entire Wikipedia database for download and individual prints of images from the project:

See: Wikipedia's page at CafePress

Wikipedia itself has no actual "gift shop" equivalent, but merchandise with Wikimedia (including Wikipedia) logos or other related motifs can be purchased online at a variety of venues. The designs for many of the articles of clothing that are available were pre-decided here on Meta. Items such as caps, t-shirts, sweatshirts and other miscellanea such as buttons and mouse pads have been designed. In addition, merchandise for almost all of the projects is available.

CafePress.com is the site chosen to feature the merchandise designed by Wikimedians. All proceeds from items sold there go to the Foundation.

Main pages for discussing available products in CafePress.com is found at Meta:Store.
