The Round-tailed Muskrat (Neofiber alleni) is a species of rodent in the Cricetidae family, sometimes called the Florida water rat.[2] It is the only species in the genus Neofiber. It is found only in the United States. Its natural habitat is swamps. It is threatened by habitat loss.
