Search Help

Type the words on which you would like to search.

Where do you want to search?
You can search Microsoft support content or you can expand your search to include all of Microsoft.com or the Internet.

On what products do you want to search?
Select the products on which you want to search. You can accept the default of All products or select a product from the product list. Select More products in this list to see the complete list of Microsoft products.

Search Results
On the left side of your screen, you can see what other products use the same query under “Refine results by product”. Clicking one of the listed products will run your search again with the same options you selected, but specific to the product you chose.

Search result icons
This icon indicates that the article is Community Solutions content that was written by customers and by Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs).

This icon  indicates that the article contains the Guided Help program. For some tasks, Guided Help can automatically perform the task that is described in the article. It can also guide you through the steps to perform the task yourself.
