T.I. has been released from an Arkansas prison after spending 11 months behind bars for violating his probation for an earlier gun conviction. The "Whatever You Like" rapper is trading Forrest City Correctional Facility for a halfway house in an undisclosed location.

Chris Burke, spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, told TMZ that T.I. -- real name Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. -- was released at 7:29 a.m. central time and is "in transit" to his next home.

"Feels great to be back where I belong … Back in the arms of those who need me the most," T.I., 30, said on Twitter shortly after his release. "The storm is over & da sun back out. IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!"

He was arrested in Los Angeles on Sept. 1 of last year for possession of a controlled substance, and while that case was later dropped, it did violate a probation he was under after serving 10 months for possession of weapons.

He checked in to prison on Nov. 1 and was expected to serve 11 months, however he was released early.

Meanwhile, VH1 announced Wednesday that they will premiere an as-yet-untitled reality series with the rapper to "get a behind-the-scenes look at T.I., and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Harris, as he tries to walk the straight and narrow and stay out of prison for good." The series premiers Dec. 5.
