Bennie Burns Williams (January 16, 1922 – September 9, 2007) was the ninth head football coach for the Howard Payne University Yellow Jackets located in Brownwood, Texas and he held that position for six seasons, from 1956 until 1961. His career coaching record at Howard Payne was 24–33.[3]
