Dr. Dre to Oversee and Rap On Game's 'The R.E.D. Album'

We may be hearing Dr. Dre spit sooner than we think. The Game told MTV News that the N.W.A. legend would not only rap on "The R.E.D. Album" (Aug 23), but help oversee the entire project as well. "This album is the most incredible album of my career," Game said. "I'm back with Dr. Dre, which is a bonus and dope for me."

Dr. Dre is one of several super-producers who will help with the record. The Game has recruited Pharrell to executive produce "The R.E.D. Album." Cool & Dre, Hit-Boy, Maestro and Lex Luger are lending their production talents as well. Nelly Furtado, Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes join Dre as featured artists.

Dr. Dre executive produced Game's debut album, "The Documentary," but after his feud with Aftermath labelmate 50 cent, the producer did not provide any beats or vocals for Game's next three albums. It seems that all is well in the Aftermath camp, though, with mentor and mentee collaborating again.
