The lights are on
Ubisoft has released a trailer for Rayman Legends that features undead mariachi, frantic platforming, and a toe-tapping arrangement of a classic '80s tune.
Several of Rayman Legends' levels incorporate auto-scrolling level design with the musical accompaniment . The clip below perfectly illustrates how that works, with a mariachi-infused rendition of Survivor's 1982 hit, "Eye of the Tiger." It takes place in the newly announced Fiesta de los Muertos world, a surrealistic take on the Mexican day of the dead.
The game is releasing on the Wii U, Xbox 360, and PS3, but Wii U owners can check out the game early in an exclusive free download in advance of its September 3 release. For more information on the game, check out our video interview.

Eye of the tiger.
rayman the musical
Ok I know it's a minor complaint but the style of music is NOT mariachi, it's flamenco. I've been a mariachi player for years now and while I would LOVE to hear a mariachi rendition of Eye Of The Tiger I don't think it's fair to the composers to confuse the styles.
That being said though I've been playing the daily challenges and weekly challenges with an addictive fervor in anticipation of this game! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME!
That's awesome!
I might get this game for the music levels alone...
I loved origins, and this one looks at least just as good. Although i'm not planing to buy for the console just yet. Still holding up hope that it will be released for pc
Wow. That was awesome.
It took me a while to realize that Thrill of ?Fight was part of Eye of The Tiger's lyrics.
GIVE ME!
You still have some angry fans, Ubitronic Arts.
That was fantastic. They should do more music-themed levels. Well...actually, I think that was just dubbed. Here's hoping, though!
LOL! Awesome! Ubisoft.
This looks great! I play the other one that came out on the WiiU with my nephews all the time.
What's with the centipede thing?
Rayman Origins was one of my favorite games of all time, let alone this gen, and Legends looks to be more of the same.
Next to GTA V this is among my most anticipated GOTY.
