Cable network Tr3s executives have launched the new series "Remexa" featuring some of the most popular regional Mexican acts, a network official has announced.

The ongoing Monday-Friday, 30-minute series will include music videos from artists such as Espinoza Paz, Los Tigres Del Norte, Jenni Rivera and Gerardo Ortiz. The program airs at 11 a.m. PST/2 p.m. EST.

The show, airing nationally, especially targets West Coast viewers who are fans of the genre, which has traditionally been most the successful of all genres within Latin music in the United States.

"We're also adding a few of the big hits of the regional Mexican genre to our daily music shows like 'Hits' and 'Cafeina' … as well as our weekly countdown show 'Top 20,' " says Marc Zimet, VP of music and talent at Tr3s.

Tr3s is owned and operated by Viacom International Media Networks and targets bilingual and bicultural Latinos in the U.S.
