Kanye West stays mostly out of the public eye these days, but he wouldn't miss Paris Fashion Week for the world. He and arm candy Amber Rose flaunt their furs at the Jan. 21 Louis Vuitton show.

Kayne West and PETA have never been great friends, but it's only gotten worse with the rapper's latest song, "Theraflu." The beef started back in January 2010, when Kanye and his then-girlfriend Amber Rose were spotted in lush fur coats at Paris Fashion Week.

At the time, PETA's senior vice president, Dan Matthews, had some candid thoughts about the rapper's fur-filled style. "Kanye can't help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show. He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo," Matthews told the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

If there was ever any any hope of reconciliation between the rapper and the animal rights group, it has been slaughtered thanks to Kanye's newest track. In "Theraflu," West raps, "Tell PETA my mink is draggin' on the floor."

PETA was less than pleased when they heard the lyrics, and had a few biting words ready for West.

"What's draggin' on the floor is Kanye's reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings," said PETA's Matthews in a statement to XXL. "He's a great musician but doesn't seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes. We keep hoping that one day he'll find his heart and join evolved style icons -- including Russell Simmons, Pink and Natalie Portman -- who have dropped animal skins."

Will this encourage Kanye to change his fur-wearing ways? Probably not. But it might just inspire more feisty lyrics in albums to come.
