Australian rock outfit Jet will release its third album, "Shaka Rock," on Aug. 25 in a global partnership with EMI.

It will be released on the band's own Real Horrorshow Records through the newly created Five Seven Music label, part of the Eleven Seven Music Group. Distribution and services such as promotion, merchandising and licensing will be handled by EMI Label Services in the U.S., U.K., and Canada and by EMI in the rest of the world under license.

The major claims the four-piece has now sold four million albums worldwide. Jet released previous albums "Get Born" and Shine On" through EMI in Australia, while the act partnered with Warner in the rest of the world.

"Jet is a band that transcends borders, which is why they are one of the handful of modern artists with a global footprint due to their compelling music and presence," said Allen Kovac, founder and CEO of the Eleven Seven Music Group and the band's manager, in a statement. "We are thrilled to launch our imprint Five Seven Music with 'Shaka Rock' in conjunction with Jet's Realhorrorshow Records as well as to launch our first major project with our partners at EMI Music around the world."

The new deal builds on the partnership between EMI and Eleven Seven Music Group, which was announced in April. It will see EMI release and market the label group's roster (including Motley Crue, Buckcherry and Drowning Pool) in the U.K. and Europe.
