I need these towels the size is perfect.

I thought maybe a few washings/dryings would rectify this, but after even 5 rounds through the wash and dry cycle, they still shed blizzards of fuzzies.

White Fuzzies Everywhere

Ever since Ikea stopped selling their awesome, cheap white towels in about this size, I've been desperate to find similar ones for the gym. It's a surprisingly difficult task - places like Bed Bath & Beyond specialize in giant fluffy bath "sheets" in 500 colors, but just a nice stack of cheap white gym towels is impossible to find. So I was super stoked to see these at such a good price and ordered them a few months ago. They seemed perfect at first - almost exactly the same as my beloved Ikea towels -- but the first time I used one, I was covered in little white fuzzies. I thought maybe a few washings/dryings would rectify this, but after even 5 rounds through the wash and dry cycle, they still shed blizzards of fuzzies. I shake them out outside, but the amount of flying cottony bits don't seem to even diminish from shake one to shake 10, almost as if the towels are disintegrating at a slow but inexorably steady rate, until all their fuzzies are transferred to your body and clothes. Every time I use these at the gym I find little white bits in my beard like 4 hours later and feel like a total moron. So to whomever made these towels, I'd just like to ask: DID YOU THINK HUMANS WOULD USE THEM?

not the towels for me

These seem like a good idea for the price however they were not for me. The package arrived on time and neatly packed . The towels themselves are extremely extremely thin . Perhaps four towels would make one decedent bath towel. They are also shorter than regular bath towels I was disappointed and returned the product to amazon. I will not purchase this brand of bath towels again. The picture is deceiving because in the picture the towels are thick but in actuality they are really really thin. very disappointed. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Some fuzz then stable

As others have noted these do shed. However, after washing and drying them it seems to have stabilized.

I have liked this size towel since high school and college many years ago. It is hard to find. While they are much
nicer than gym towels they are easy to handle and use. We may put the plush alternatives out for guests just to
let them know we can offer the quality but in my bathroom hangs these smaller ones. They look fine to me and
are not as austere as I anticipated. They have an embroidered band and they dry quick too!

I would have paid more since this size appeals so the price is a bonus - good value. FWIW, I'll let the guests and girls
have the heavy plush towels. Give me a smaller lightweight towel so I can get the job done quick and be on my way.

Cheap, sheds lint, disintegrates in the wash

When I bought these I washed them before using. They came out of the dryer looking like they were 10 years old: ragged, frayed threads everywhere, and so much lint I'm amazed the dryer didn't catch fire. Save your money and buy better towels elsewhere.

pulled, snagged or missing yarn
runs throw-out most of the towels
miss labeled should be marked as all 2nds

Dont waste your money!

I just got these on friday. I put them in the washer and 2 of the 12 towels shredded on the edges. 5 of the towels have threads that are already popping out. I didn't expect top quality towels for the price I paid, but I did expect that they would stand up to a few washings before showing such wear or disintegrating.

These towels are useless.Thin and stiff I would use them on my cay but not sure if it will scratch the paint.
