Vanity Fair All Access + Free Weekender Bag

In spite of the previous review, for the price of one traditional paper issue, I thought I would give it a try - and am so happy I did! During the purchase process, you are asked for an email address and password to access your magazine. I downloaded the app on my iPad, used the email and password I had previously entered and was enjoying my first issue in less than 2 minutes!

You turn the pages right to left as usual but can read an entire article by paging up - no more endless flipping of pages! And, of course you can zoom in to see the details - a fabulous feature for magazines.

As for the auto renewal, the description says: Issues: 6 issues / 6 months auto-renewal. I've bought a couple of auto-renewal magazines. I usually go to my magazine subscription manager and just turn off the auto-renewal. So easy. If I forget, I always get renewal emails from Amazon and can make my decision to renew or not with plenty of time to spare.

Thank you, Amazon - You are incredible! I ordered this magazine through the Amazon Magazine store. Not only do I have full digital access online and on my Kindle Fire HD app, but they mail me a hard-copy every month.

You would think I pay a king's ransom - but Amazon only charged me $6.00 for six months! That is a dollar a month! No hidden fees or weird contracts/renewal plans. Just a one-time thing.

I loved the program so much that I am signing up again for $6.00 more dollars and another six months.

Amazon is changing the meaning of customer service. They offer things that were once never thought imaginable. Thank, you Amazon! Now I know why Warren Buffett stated that the best CEO of today is Jeff Bezos. Amazon just keeps on rewarding the customer and making things even better. That is just simply awesome!

I paid$20 for this app, plus the magazine and I can't get the app download on my Kindle Fire HD and I have not received a magazine yet in the mail. I did receive my tote bag, so I guess I paid for that and it was not woth $20. Wish I could have my magazine in the mail at least.

I have always enjoyed Vanity Fair. It is a very informative source of information that you do not find in other publications. The gift I'd an added bonus.

Quality magazine, Kindle version works beautifully, free bag much nicer than expected. I confess that I had no idea what kind of magazine this is - I subscribed to the all-access offer because I'm a sucker for a free bag. The first issue arrived very quickly & featured Jimmy Fallon (a personal fave), with the next issue arriving soon after. The physical quality of the magazines is excellent, the content is basically celebrity fawning, but with actual input from the celebrities themselves instead of third-party speculation (aka baseless gossip). The Kindle Fire version downloads quickly and is easy to navigate. I HAVE NOT compared them to determine how much of the print-version content is provided electronically. I enjoy the "all access" option, as I can share the paper magazine while keeping the e-version for myself.

Enjoy Magazine, long time subscriber. The BAG was WAY TOO CHEAP to be used for anything but storage of seasonal items.

I purchased, but could not download the Vanity Fair app on my Kindle Fire. After 30 minutes on the phone with support (and they were very nice and helpful, I'll say that), she says that the app seems to only be available on the first generation Kindle Fire. She will put the request in to have them make apps that are compatible for other Kindle Fires, but no guarantees. So I already paid the full amount; now I wait to see if I can ever use part of the package....

I have yet to receive the magazine subscription yet. Vanity keeps sending me emails to encourage me to read it on my phone. My eyesight will not allow me to do that. I was very disappointed in the low quality of the Weekender bag they sent.
If the quality of the bag reflects the quality of vanity magazine, then I should not have ordered it.

I was excited to read the article on Game of Thrones. Or any of the other articles. However none of them will download. I am always connected to wifi but to no avail.

I love the magazine and was thrilled to receive it. The bag was not that well made, so I didn't keep it.
