Its too thick and doesn't allow the door to close.

How tiny are those loads? The netting started to rip in the first week I used it from one load of my daughter's laundry. Yes, she had 2 pairs of jeans in there, but really? Also, the pop out feature keeps the hamper open, but it also makes sure that if you have it on the back of a door, you can never fully open the door because it stands out by about 12". I ended up cutting the wire out of it so that the bathroom door it was on would stay open.

Almost a "Dirty Dunk"

I was looking for the "Dirty Dunk" I had as a kid, but that's been recalled due to suffocation hazards so this was the next best thing. It hangs on a door hook, the kids toss their laundry in, then I lug the whole sack down to the laundry room. Works great!

Very large sized & surprisingly sturdy

The hamper holds a lot of clothes! I use it everyday, to collect all of our dry clean only clothes. I use it to transport them to the cleaners, too. It's a handy tote and very tough. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5, is because I wish it had a closure for the opening on top. A zipper or some snaps would really be useful on here! But I would not hesitate to buy this as a gift for others, or even to repeat my purchase and make use of it in more than one room of our home. Definitely recommend this to all.

Works well, but....

It does stick out pretty far so the place I planned to hang it on (entrance door to guest bedroom) doesn't work. The opening of the bag is pretty stiff and the door would bounce back when you opened it. No worries, though, as it's sturdy enough to just sit on the closet floor so guests have a place to throw dirty clothes.

Awkward

Seems like something you cold get at a dollar store.

Not for short kids.

The basket sticks out quite a bit. When on the inside of my son's bedroom door we couldn't keep the door opened very far b/c it hit the wall behind it. However, it's very flexible so when on the inside of his closet door, it wasn't a big deal to squish it inside the closet. Also, it opening is very high up. My son is 6 and it's quite a stretch for him to reach the opening to put clothes inside. It does have an adjustable strap but the longer the strap the less secure the bag is against the door and the more it flops around. So, this product does serve it's purpose but it wasn't well designed.

Good idea, poor materials

I purchased this hamper for my 12 year old son's room in an effort to keep his dirty clothes from being dumped on the floor in wild abandon. Wish me luck on that.

Anyway, intially my son really liked this hamper, and it worked for about 5 days. This hamper cannot fit on the back of his bedroom door since it does have a wire frame holding it open, but we hung it on his closet door, which was perfect placement! However,on the last day he used it, my son decided to utilize the zipper on the bottom to remove the clothes rather than bringing the hamper to the washing machine closet and unloading the laundry from the top like he did before. The zipper broke right away! Arrgghhh!

I give this hamper one star for that reason, but I wish I could rate Amazon's response to returning this item. They would get a full five stars. I was credited the full purchase price, and they said I didn't have to ship it back.

If you have a wall behind the door you hang this, it will always have to stay closed, because it is so big that does not let the door be wide opened ever!
