Solid Laptop!,

5 hr battery life, beautiful screen and easy to use. I love Windows 8.1! Many new features that are useful once I learned how to use them. The touchscreen is a must have with Windows 8.1!

Out of the box it would not boot up!,

After taking the unit to a local retailer of Samsung computers, who checked it out and also found it would not boot up, was told there was probably a hardware problem and that I needed to contact Samsung to have it repaired. Called Samsung and they requested I try several things prior to authorizing me to send it back to them for repair. Nothing worked, and they gave me a repair number and label for free shipping. Its been nine days since it was sent back, and have not even received a phone call or email as to the situation. I'm disappointed in the lack of followup by Samsung, simply because this was a gift to the granddaughter, who picked this device as her choice computer for starting college.
Probably an anomaly device wise, but the lack of communication thereafter is not acceptable. |
