The Epic Mickey: The Power of Two Paintbrush features a soft tip which changes its glow from Blue to Green depending on the player's interaction with the landscape. The Paintbrush will glow blue when Mickey Mouse paints on a landscape, while it will light up green while erasing content on the landscape.

Note that if you are using the Wii U version of the game only player 2 can use the paintbrush because player one uses the wii u game pad. If you are playing the Wii version of the game then either player 1 or player 2 can use the paintbrush.

Got the Nunchuk for my son to go along with Epic Mickey II. They advertise it as "working" with #2, as if it was designed specifically for Epic Mickey 2, however, the paintbrush stays lit blue all the time regardless of the game and simply changes to green when the Z-button is pressed. So, this would be compatible with Epic Mickey 1 and any other games. The tip changes green when playing other games also.

Overall, my son is thrilled with the remote and uses it for all his games but I do not care for the remote too much myself as I do not find it as ergonomic as the original nunchuks for the Wii.

This is a neat peripheral that I've used while playing Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. It connects to the nunchuck slot in your Wii remote. While a lot of game-specific peripherals don't add a whole lot to the game, I feel like this one really does help immerse you even more into the game world. The way the tip of the brush changes in sync with in-game actions is a very nice touch. Younger players will be especially wowed. There is also a companion peripheral available for Oswald's remote: PDP Epic Mickey 2 Oswald's Clicker for Wii.

My wife and I ordered this controller and the Oswald Remote controller from the Epic Mickey 2 game for my niece who is a big Disney fan. If you were to only order one, this paintbrush version is the one to get. They both have slight ergonomic flaws, being that they do not have the typical shape of the regular wii controller, but the Mickey's Paintbrush is much more ergonomic and user friendly when compared to the Oswald Remote. This issue is not too noticeable at first, but if you are playing for extended periods of time, you will discover just how non-ergonomic the Osward controller really is via hand stiffness/etc. In summary, my niece loves this controller and we even she her waving it around as a toy too (which is fine for the price). This is a good buy. I hope this review helped.

It is hard to get my son overly excited with any thing, not that he's spoiled with all kind of toys, he's just a happy kid with a rather shy personality for the most part. He really enjoyed playing Epic Mickey 1, and He knew I had bought Epic Mickey 2 for his Birhday. so when he looked at this cool brush (a surprise in the box of an expected gift) and realized he could actually use it as a wii remote, a big smile and gone into imagination kind of eyes was one of the best "thank you" I've gotten from him.
