ATV winch line saver ws1b

I have 2 of these, one on my 09' Polaris 550xp, and one on the wife's 13' Suzuki KK 500axi, both have warn winches, and it fits perfectly in the roller fair-leads, it keeps the hook from flopping around and banging on the bumper or frame while on the trails
And it keeps from putting to much stress on the line and hook when your bumping the switch in to bring the hook in snug to the fair-lead.
Its great to grab the line saver to pull line out (especially when all muddy), and then it easily slides out of the way so you can wrap the line around a tree, or hook to another quad.
The size in the picture is deceiving, it as wide as the 2 vertical rollers in a roller fair-lead and fits nicely in between them.

update: 10/21/13 you must be careful to not winch in too much because you will pull the hook through and break the line saver, like i did, but i will buy new one.
I used a fairly thick 1/2" fender washer to prevent the hook from pulling through. ..works perfect

easy installation, fits into roller fairlead well on my 2500 lb Warn winch. Can keep the hitch hook tight without damaging roller fairlead. Would have given it 5, but have not had it very long. If it holds up well after use would likely rate it a 5. Make sure to have an extra cotter pin handy - nearly destroyed the original when uninstalling / installing.

The line saver is a good idea.It will also save your guide rollers.
I would recommend this the guide roller to any one that has a winch.

this little rubber bumper is a must for anybody who owenes a winch . it sure saves the farelenes from abuse when wound in to tight.

I love this little thing. Yeah, it's just a chunk of rubber, but it does the trick perfectly. Some people have found it difficult to instal, but I had zero problem on my Warn. I didn't even have to soap it up.

This is my second one. I have one with the winch rope on my 2002 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO. Very easy to assembly and works great. Prevents the hook from rattling on rough terrian which is a bonus!

Great product at a great price. It's a must have for your ATV winch. I would recommend this product to everyone and it installs in about 20-30 seconds.

This Winch Saver appears to be better made than the ATV Winch Hook Stopper I had previously purchased. Haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it will do what I want. The other stopper will as well, this one just appears to be better made and it is slightly cheaper.
