Karlsruher Virtueller Katalog (KVK) is a book search engine administered by the library of the University of Karlsruhe. It searches a large number of catalogs of research libraries in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as several important national libraries in other countries, and some large commercial catalogs. It is said to encompass 500 million books and serial publications.
