I'd like for further develop this article about a history book Tragedy And Hope can someone give me some guidelines on doing that please? That is focusing on the requirements for writing articles about books. Flaviusvulso (talk) 08:09, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

I think that a good place to start would be at this page created especially for books. If that doesn't help you enough, try copying what other novel articles do. Layout, plots etc. Rcsprinter (talkin' to me?) @ 08:36, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Ways to improve Tragedy And Hope[edit]

Hi, I'm Kieranian2001. Flaviusvulso, thanks for creating Tragedy And Hope!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. reviewed as part of page curation. An article on a controversial theory especially needs to be supported by detailed citations/references. Otherwise it may be tagged for further review.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. —Preceding undated comment added 12:44, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi Kieranian, is it suitable to use the book itself as a reference? Flaviusvulso (talk) 13:11, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

The Castle[edit]

A castle - if I understand it right - is in German "Burg", a fortified structure. A palace can be "Palast" or "Schloss". What do you think? Is there a better word for "Schloss" in English than "palace"? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:57, 21 July 2013 (UTC)

hmm I'm don't speak German but I did think that castle is usually translated as schloss so I thought it would translate back the other way? Google translates "das schloss" as "the castle", a castle and a palace or two different things in English. If you speak German I'll leave this as your call. Flaviusvulso (talk) 14:06, 21 July 2013 (UTC)
I am German, and we make the difference, so did Kafka. He could have said Burg but didn't. I reverted several on TFA day who wanted to introduce "Palace" as the better translation, - we can't do that, it was traditionally rendered as "The Castle", but we could at least clarify that it is not what Kafka had in mind, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:10, 21 July 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Franz Kafka works, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mark Harman (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
