chesh103[edit]

Hi Widr - good spot. I'm a journalist running a piece on how Wikipedia self-corrects, hence the alteration. Sorry for the trouble. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chesh103 (talkcontribs) 10:41, 22 April 2015‎

Please be careful with BLPs[edit]

Hi there. Your recent edit at John Nicolson (journalist) re-added controversial and uncited information about a living person which had been correctly removed. Please be careful when editing that you avoid doing this in the future. Stifle (talk) 16:23, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

@Stifle: Actually I had intended to remove the good-faith commentary left by the IP. Sometimes you miss something and/or add something back by mistake when using anti-vandalism tools such as STiki. That's human, unfortunately. I did a quick Google search, and it seems that the person in question has at least at some point lived in Spitalfields, so it's not all made up. Unsourced—like several other parts of the article—and possibly incorrect, yes, but hardly "defamatory" (hence the warning you have left to the IP that had originally added that piece as their one and only edit).
