Due to the general overview of the concept of Adam, I thought it might serve as a good overview here. Especially, since the leadsection lacks a proper introduction. It reads more like a dictionary introducing the term and mentioning when it appears, instead of exploring the idea behind it. (WP:DICDEF) Also, it reads better when an overview is given first, and then details follow.
